We tried to push it out to sea, but it kept floundering back onto the shore. I called my friend and Ukraine’s top dolphin expert, @Pavlo Goldin, and we carefully discussed the situation. We concluded that the best thing we could do was to carry the baby dolphin across the sandbar and release it from the sea side. That’s exactly the moment captured in the video. Friends, I want to emphasize that you shouldn’t try to rescue wild animals without consulting experts, because you could harm both them and yourself. So consult first, then act! *** 5 years ago on this day, together with @Liza Kozlenko rescued a baby dolphin.
