As a print manager, it’s insane how many “professionals” don’t know

My wet dream as a graphic designer is one of them monitors that show you true colors so when you work you see the most true hues while working. I forgot what it’s even called after I checked the price :,)

Not to mention in CMYK your prints will come out darker then you think it will so you need to account for that

"not unless you manually adjust them to something that comes close" wait, shouldn't that automatically happen when you switch to CMYK mode? Shouldn't it find the closest colors possible?

So can anyone answer please on how to get colours to print as vibrant as they are on the monitor? I've started upping the saturation by about 20 but don't know if that's the right way

All of these new Canva “graphic designers” don’t know this. Had a client get mad that the print artwork they sent looked different in person, I had to explain that they designed in rgb and I had to convert

And yet the CMYK mode is not even close to accurate to the actual printed image

And stuff like that is why brands work with Pantone colors. They look the same on print and digital.

i found out that if you start in CMYK and place your image, the shift is less that if you change document color mode to CMYK, doesn't work on everything though, only on some images

From what Ive been told the easiey way to describe the difference is RGB is designed for black screens while cmyk is designed for white paper. RGB is lighting the black, CMYK is darkening the white.
