@pubity: After Japan's 2-2 draw with the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup on Sunday, Japanese fans stayed behind at Dallas Stadium to collect every piece of trash from their section. The tradition dates back to Japan's first World Cup in 1998 and is rooted in a cultural philosophy summed up by the phrase "Tatsu tori ato wo nigosazu" which means "return it the way you found it." The habit is taught from elementary school onward and has roots in Shinto religion, where external purity is tied to inner purity. At the 2018 World Cup, the Japanese players also cleaned their dressing room after elimination and left a thank-you note in Russian. 🇯🇵 #Pubity #Viral #Sports
My mother was a waitress, and my first job was in a movie theater. I raised my two dons to always clean their area after a movie, and to pre-bus their tables. Sometimes I join my son and his friend group at the movies and I was do pleased to see that they are all cleaning their area and taking out the trash. 💝
