Hey! Quick question on bank property valuations vs. listing prices. If a house is listed at R900k, but the independent PropPin / Lightstone report caps the baseline at R700k, will the bank ever grant a 100% bond on that R900k? Or does the risk desk strictly cap the bond at the R700k data baseline, forcing the buyer to pay the shortfall in cash? How do banks look at these reports? this only sample figures.
