I use this method all the time, but I wonder if there's something I can do that stops my whole house from smelling like grease and popcorn for days after.

This works great! Also, I put butter in a metal measuring cup, turn off the burner, and use the residual heat to melt the butter during that 30 seconds.

Use ghee instead of oil to impart a buttery flavor.

Stovetop popcorn is too chewy and stale tasting for me.

What’s your take on yellow corn kernels vs. white corn?

This is my favourite way to make popcorn. I use herbamare on the kernels in the pot instead of salt and it’s delicious 🤤

I tried this in my whirly pop and it actually works. we only had six half popped kernels.
and everything else opened completely. I can't believe it's taking this long to figure this out

if you like popcorn enough to do this, invest in an air popper.

If you add drizzling butter then I`d see melted caramel with cinamon cam be good too🥰

Now I need to know the best way to add the melted butter so you end up with an even coating and not a few bits soaked and the rest vaguely butter scented.
