Ranch dressing recipe for Europeans: ½ cup mayonnaise, ½ cup sour cream (or crème fraîche; Greek yogurt is tolerable if that’s what you have), 2–4 tbsp milk (to thin), 1 tsp dried dill, 1 tsp dried parsley, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder, ¼ tsp black pepper, ½–¾ tsp salt, 1 tsp lemon juice or white vinegar. Pinch of MSG if you have it. Whisk together until smooth and let sit for 10–15 minutes before serving.
