guys, “faking being hypnotized” is just what hypnosis is. you think you have full control but if you’re going along with it and doing things you wouldn’t normally do (i.e. you’re more suggestible), that is hypnosis. it’s not like some magic state of mind

Doesn’t work on everyone. But it can be real. When I was in college we had a hypnotist come and my best friend (shyest person you would ever meet) went on stage and told everyone she likes crop dusting people in the library.
