Being a single mom is one of those experiences people love to judge until they've actually lived it 💛 The reality is so much more complicated than the stereotypes. I remember feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and carrying the weight of everything on my shoulders. Then another mom in a support group mentioned Eat Like a Woman Protocol by Loren Green. A few months later I was down 30 lbs, had more energy and finally felt like I was taking care of myself too. Love it) single moms deserve support, not judgment.

i hate how if women are single moms were slut shamed, “should’ve picked better” , looked down upon and practically lit with torches but when men are single fathers they’re “brave” and “amazing dads” ; like why don’t we all get praised for taking responsibility and keeping our kids healthy and loved?? and god forbid you say anything positive about being a parent and people find 10 million bad things to throw back at you, like damn can’t we be happy? i spent years apologizing that i have a kid and it just dawned on me recently i have nothing to apologize for. kids are blessings! and at the bare minimum, society has a need to repopulate , i just did my part

As a single mom of 8 years… I’ve cried a lot over it. Esp the financial burdens or the weight of everything on you. But I’m also not constantly let down

I am a single mom via a sperm donor and I think being a single mom is a lot like being a mom in a marriage with kids. Accept You don’t have to take care of a manchild. Clean up after a manchild and I believe that is what makes a single mom way easier. There is no irritation and stress.
