It needs a lot of work + stamp duty is ~£650K. So that £5.5m asking price is actually around £7m. I’m not sure it’s worth that. The kitchen is dated and with a south facing garden — whilst lovely, you have a house that will struggle to manage the increasing heat over summer. Far better to buy a large house down in Surrey/Sussex and a lovely 2 bed ground floor apartment in Zone 1/2
