I feel like it’d be so cool if how in ep three it starts with it being days after the 2nd vid, and Mob is still mourning Trixxel. He also at one point mentions how his game keeps glitching and how that’s just adding to his misery. Verity is next to him and asks if the game isn’t running smoothly, but Mob snaps that no, it’s just making him hit the leave button like ten times before it works. Verity can make a comment on how Mob seems “so excited” to just leave in a bitter tone. Now this ep should look like it’s Mob mourning his friend and Verity getting jealous, and that the climax should be Verity getting jealous and turning into a monster again. And whilst I believe that it could have a part in it, I believe that the main premise of the climax will actually be Mob mad at Verity and Verity trying to feel useful again. Mob isn’t asking him questions and Verity may feel unwanted and useless, so he pushes Mob to ask a question. Mob will then ask why Verity’s face was all blank when there was the monster, and this can lead into a reveal that points us towards the direction of understanding that Verity isn’t an AI, and he isn’t the monster either. But rather Verity and the monster are two separate beings that a singular conscious has control over. Idk, it’s late at night and I’m just yapping. But that’s just a theory
