i really don't want to be that person, but I completely agree with gatekeeping fandoms and favorite content because look what happened to fandoms and fandom spaces... it turned into a judgemental place. people who don't care about fandom culture and just join for trends which is super annoying, or because they find it a safe space for "hating" others, join and ruin the experience for everyone.
