She left a one star review but in her story time said the girl offered her water when she sat down, was honest with her that she didn’t want to give her a rushed bad haircut, AND OFFERED HER AN APPOINTMENT THE NEXT DAY.

My gps sent me 20 minutes in the wrong direction before I figured out I screwed up. I called the stylist and offered to pay a no show fee and explained what I did. She didn't have anyone after me and let me come late but I never expected her to accommodate me almost 45 minutes late.

I always arrive to appointments for hair ,nails and tattoos 20-30 mins early and wait till 15-10 mins before appointment to go in ;)

Yall say this, and yet when I'm early for my appointment, I still don't get in the chair until 10-15 minutes after my scheduled time. Doesn't matter which salon I go to.

I worked in reception for a Solon of people were more then 9 minutes late it would ruin the stylist whole day so they would have me call and cancel if they weren’t there at that point. I usually couldn’t rebook the client till a few weeks out depending the stylist and I’ll be honest I took pride in the fact I don’t feel bad if you are the late one.

Maybe it’s just me, but when I’m genuinely upset, my first thought isn’t, “Quick, let me document this.” She was late for her haircut, missed the appointment, and somehow the tears lasted through unlocking her phone, opening TikTok, setting up the camera, and pressing record. That’s impressive endurance.

Here’s the thing. I would never expect a stylist keep my appointment if I’m late. However, every time I have an appointment at a salon for myself or my daughter, we always have to wait past our scheduled time for them to finish up with another client. I get their time is valuable so we wait. But my time is valuable too. Am I in the wrong for expecting to be seen at our scheduled time or is it standard procedure to wait?
