I spoke with a female truck driver from South Africa who was employed by a Lithuanian trucking company that owned 700 trucks! Do you know how much they paid her per month? €700 a month, working 7 months straight with one month off at home! I told her that wasn’t right and that they were taking advantage of her! She told me she asked for a raise and was told that if she didn’t like it, she could go back home! The company had employees from India, Turkmenistan, etc.! So you can imagine how these drivers are being mistreated!

honestly its better for everyone to go back home. i know that they are still earning more than in their home countries but coming here to drive for cheap allows lithuanian and polish companies to drop prices of transport and by that destroy companies from europe and terminate jobs for people from Europe that drive trucks for living. lots of company had to close bcs they can compete with lt companies droping prices. they can only do that by having cheap driving force
