I just bought the @insta360 official Luna Ultra and walked straight into Times Square New York City, one of the hardest lighting environments anywhere, to test the new low-light PureVideo mode. Zero experience. Zero edits. The footage came out cinematic straight off the camera. I put it head to head with my $1,999 iPhone 17 Pro Max main camera. The Luna holds more vibrant color, where the iPhone goes muted. Zoom into the Empire State Building light show and I would not believe it came from a 1-inch sensor. The 12x zoom held detail in low light, and the AI tracking pulled off a spinning shot my phone and my cinema camera could not. If you shoot a lot at night, this is the camera for you. Don’t waste your time waiting for DJI Pocket 4P… You don’t even see an extreme low light sample from 4P yet… But prove me wrong! Tell me what you think in the comments.
