He brought a house for 1.8Mil after interest, but from his FD interest he only got 1.2Mil, so if we do 1.8Mil - 1.2Mil, he still have to pay 600k, but remember he have 800k in fixed deposit, so we can take out that 600k from his FD, therefore 800k-600k is 200k, so he saved 200k more than the other guy.
