I hate when they compare Hinata and Sasuke just because they share a visual palette. Sasuke is written as rupture and confrontation, while Hinata is written as accommodation. Sasuke’s entire arc is built around rejecting Konoha after realizing the injustice done to the Uchiha clan; he is willing to become hated, abandon social acceptance, and force society to face truths it wants hidden. His methods become destructive, but his anger comes from recognizing real structural violence and demanding change. Hinata never meaningfully challenges the clan’s hierarchy or the oppression of the branch family despite being positioned within the privileged main branch (even after Neji exposes the cruelty of the system). Also, she admires Naruto’s struggle but rarely intervenes directly in the injustice he experiences (is distance dressed as devotion), whereas Sasuke consistently responds to injustice through action and rejection.
