Sa mga nagsasabing hindi ito mahalaga, actually ay malaki ang tulong sa local economy ng mga ganitong concerts and events. Ang tawag dito ay event tourism. Halimbawa, yung three-day concert ng BTS sa Mexico generated $103M (or roughly mga ₱6.2B). Dahil gumastos ang mga concert-goers sa hotel, pagkain, transportation, merchandise, etc. At may dagdag na employment sa mga tao sa area. Kaya nga mismong yung Presidente na ng Mexico ang tumawag sa Presidente ng South Korea para madagdagan ng extra concert date pa. Sa Tampa concerts nila, $47M (or about ₱2.8B) ang direct na naitulong sa local economy nila ng mga BTS concerts. Kaya nga cities bid to host these concerts and events. Kasi kumikita nang malaki ang mga areas nila. Why do you think Singapore bid to host ALL of Taylor Swift’s SEAsia concerts two years ago? Kasi kikita nang malaki ang Singapore dito. Puwede namang sabay-sabay talakayin ang iba’t ibang issues kung competent naman ang mga taong nasa puwesto.
