Hamas is an awful institution that has done truly horrific and terrible things to it's own population. for this, I condemn them. however, they are also the only viable resistance group in Palestine against their oppressive overlords in the Israeli government. for resisting against European colonialism for a country that has only existed for 76 years is a noble and worthwhile cause. killing invaders for this goal is understandable even if it is also deeply regrettable. the problem is that they chose to target civilians on Oct 7. but, Israel has been killing civilians in Palestine since it's inception.
