“Danish is one of the most difficult languages to learn” is purely subjective. It depends entirely on the learner. To me, as an English speaker, it seemed like one of the easier European languages to learn, let alone all the others.

The best part about the "en eller et" issue is that there is actually the rule of one of them being intetkøn and the other fælleskøn... there's just not really a rule for when something is intetkøn and when it's fælleskøn

danish grammar, syntax and spelling is easy! but the phonology… but theres just too many vowels that are soooo hard to discern if you dont grow up with them!

Yes I tried to teach my niece danish like saying ‘rød grød med fløde’ like my family is from Iceland but I live with some of my family in Denmark, my niece said it like ‘rø grø me flø’ she tried tho, surprisingly her dad was able to say it pretty well which was surprising🙏 the only sentence she can say is ‘far har et barn’ so she just goes around saying that😭
