@homeonbroad: I honestly have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to plantings and flowers but this year I’m determined to add some variety to our house.. After going to our local nursery they helped me choose the perfect plants for our new window boxes that would thrive in east facing sun. I also wanted flowers that would bloom for the entire late spring and summer season, so these were the perfect choice. Save this post if you’re thinking of adding window boxes to your house! 🌷🪴

Pretty but hostas are shade plants, they are not meant for full sun like this. They will burn. They are also perennials so they are best in the ground because they come back every year
