I refuse to ever do 4 rounds of interviews. After the 2nd interview, they already know. Round 3 is only allowed if it’s a c-suite position. Otherwise, rounds 3 & 4 are intentional abuse imo.

I applied for a part time administrative assistant at $19 an hour that required a 3 hour personality test. I didn't do it and they kept texting me to remind me until I formally bowed out. crazy

Forbes recently wrote an article talking about how 40% of companies they interviewed are posting ghost jobs. They’re not actually hiring. They just want people to think they are. I suspect that’s what you found.

I applied for a job that stated remote, similar on what they required. After the 4th interview round, I received a job offer, but now the position was hybrid with 3 days in the office, and yes throughout the interview process this job was remote. I declined. So watch out for the bait and switch on jobs too
