While I still believe that Hoyo really did change/rewritten the Harbingers midway through the story, I still really love their interactions together and how their dynamics work, but I wished they could've shown more how the Harbingers talk to each other in past stories otherwise we wouldn't be so confused what or how their relationships work together and not keep it so hidden all the time.

Columbina acknowledged that as her grieving iirc, and Sandrone clearly acts different around others. She was actively shoving them away as is, and knowing Signora and Arlecchino, they likely didn't acknowledge their friendship/bond around other harbingers. This isn't anything strange

I feel like the way they reacted was their form of coping with her death. while I dont disagree that the harbingers were rewritten, that much is obvious with Columbina, I still believe that people process emotions differently and in a situation wherein they're not only surrounded by coworkers but also competition, putting on a cold face and hiding their grief is a form of survival. they can't show their weakness, especially when surrounded by opportunistic people
