that’s the side of the Miku fans I don’t like, I think Miku should have one, she shown interest first, shown the most growth in the whole show, bonding from mutual interest, eg:history, Miku basically making futaro work him self for Mikus approval, once received, Miku had genuinely most shown respect, her inner conflict and the conflict w ichikas switch up, made huge issues for her to confess earlier on, Miku is my favourite quint, not due to “dandere” or some other complexity revolved around superiority, not “looks” too i genuinely understand Miku as a character and could have seen her being a perfect match for futaro.

The author and animation studio, at least in my opinion, made the emotional scenes of nino and Miku waaaayyyyy more hard hitting than Yotsuba, whose character arc was more rushed than the animation for opm season 3

yotsaba Just had no solo character arc I'm not saying she was irrelevant in the story she just never had scenes alone and you just couldn't root for her or see her as a main love interest.

𝙰𝚓𝚒𝚗 𝚃𝚎𝚖𝚙𝚎𝚜𝚝 :
On everything. Like, out of bias my favorite is Itsuki and I REALLY wanted her to win, but after rewatching its obvious Yotsuba deserved to win. She had the most development out of all the quints and has always loved and supportes Futaro since day one, unlike the other four quints. She’s the kindest and most selfless out of all of them and has tried her best just like the rest of the quints. Ichika, imo, is the second best written quint and is really overhated too. She’s had great development and her dynamic with Yotsuba is really great too. Yes, she obviously did things that weren’t great, but thats okay, shes allowed to make mistakes because shes human. And ironically, a lot of the people who hate Ichika love Nino who drugged Futaro twice. I don’t see how that makes sense.
