Oh my gosh don’t get me started on the projects. I did all 3 sciences and it genuinely almost broke me - for physics, one of my methods was completely new (as in, my teacher had never even heard of it), we didn’t have the proper equipment for it, so I ended up literally DIYing the apparatus just for my results to be unusable (which I only realised after the main piece of apparatus broke so I couldn’t actually redo anything). On the day before my physics deadline, I worked on my final draft from 10 am until 5 am the next day (with plenty of breaks ofc, but I still had to go to school that 2nd day💔). My biology teacher (despite me thinking he couldn’t be more useless) refused to let us do our practicals during class time at any point during the year (I know this may seem reasonable, but to put it into perspective, he himself stated that he didn’t actually know the content until he was looking at it on the board - he was not joking) and I ultimately spent 3 straight weeks of virtually all my free periods, with 1 day being 5 consecutive periods + break and lunch, doing project work. He also failed to mention that the information on how to properly design, carry out, and write-up an experiment was in the 3rd unit (the one we had not covered until I was literally half way through my write up). Chemistry was a blessing in comparison omg😭 (I would like to say, that I did actually learn loads from the projects and I don’t want to put anyone off doing them, this was just my frustrations with my experience - most of these came down to the selection of teachers I got, but others were my own fault).

hey i’m just choosing my project for biology and i’d like to do dentistry. I was thinking of doing a project on the effect of ph on tooth enamel. Do you think this is a good idea or am i better off doing something easier
