Ppl dont understand why her being saved is so important. Yukino is a very independent character, she believes that strength is abt being able to stand alone and that being vulnerable (which she consides opening up and reliant on ours to be) is weak. So in season 2 when she asks hikigaya to save her, that is her being wanting to vulnerable and open around him and here we see that he succeeded
