Agree. More of a problem on hogs, deer and coyotes. Bad part is the cattle market is taking the hit for the problem.

All I remember doing in the 60’s was watch the cows and as soon as they calved there was a paste we put on the cow and calf at the umbilical cord. After they dropped the sterile flys the threat disappeared.

I grew up on a farm and my daddy grew cattle. I've been saying these same things when I come across people freaking out. It's ridiculous how ignorant some people are.

Can you talk more about what you do with the promethazine and how you put it on your cattle I’ve been using a pour over for flies and what not and I live next to a dairy and my cows are covered constantly. Nothing seems to touch it.
