Agree. More of a problem on hogs, deer and coyotes. Bad part is the cattle market is taking the hit for the problem.

All I remember doing in the 60’s was watch the cows and as soon as they calved there was a paste we put on the cow and calf at the umbilical cord. After they dropped the sterile flys the threat disappeared.

I grew up on a farm and my daddy grew cattle. I've been saying these same things when I come across people freaking out. It's ridiculous how ignorant some people are.

We still have our worm trap hopefully don't have to use it again. They also have livestock check points I drove by one last week south of Sonora part week and drive by one today between San Angelo and Mertzon today
