I'll be honest, John was treating Abigail and Jack pretty horribly so I'd understand if Dutch is mad at him lol. Hosea is just as angry the difference is he's older, he's got more wisdom about how to respond to things. Hosea also knew that John was in love with Abigail he just didnt know how to handle it but Dutch never cared to see.

That is bc John responded sarcastically to Dutch while he wasn’t to Hosea I believe and I believe that’s because I believe John and Arthur see Hosea more as a father figure while Dutch is like a older friend who you owe and is gratefully to or like a mentor more then a father

Dutch was always jealous of the relationship John had. He wanted that for himself. I think that’s partially why he never cared to save him. Also I think that’s why he mentioned that they all had her in rdr, he was truly jealous
