@initiatearchitecture: VLOGS 🎥 Over the past year I’ve really struggled to regularly share work here and it saddens me. This practice, when launched 5 years ago, was centred around the ethos of transparency and authenticity, sharing the journey of setting up and running an architecture studio today. These values are still integral, but as the practice has grown incrementally from one person to three people, with projects growing in scale and ambition, the realities of running a sustainable and profitable studio have pulled me away from documenting the process. I’ve thought long and hard about how to change this, and have decided to begin vlogging our days as practicing architects in a less polished and more direct way. My hope this is that this is both more manageable on my end whilst also providing lots of insight into a career as an architect on the smaller side of the profession. So here goes - our first vlog. Like anything, I’m sure they’ll get better the more we produce, but for now it’s about parking the anxieties over high production value and embracing the process of sharing. If you enjoy this, and will be following along, please let me know in the comments ☺️ Much love to all of you as always. #architect #architecture #architecturestudio
