so what do you do now? besides awareness spreading, which is huge.
my biggest worry is to not be able to find meaningful work. I know how bad it can get, because of my former Clients with all kinds of disabilities, and how they struggle.😳

So well said. This was pretty much my experience as well. There are a lot of lawyers who will take your case on bro bono and then take a percentage of your back pay. SO WORTH IT

A lawyer gets you disability. I was denied multiple times for 3 years bc i have a masters degree. I had to go to court and testify to my dysfunctional body. The judge asked me 2 questions, 3 minutes into hearing i was approved. I have bipolar and muscular dystonia. I worked successfully at a high level until age 46. Some work history helps. Only a lawyer can get you disability. I miss work sooooo much. Dont file if your not ready to sit in a recliner all day.

I am now feeling stable and wondering if I could qualify. Mainly because I haven’t extreme problems with the law or been in a mental institution. Some doctors act like oh wow you seem so stable….I’m just like I’m on medication now 😭.
