I love what you’re saying and I wanna add that I think from my study of anthropology I remember there are current matriarchies that are still in existence or were in the 90s when I was studying at least somewhere in China where they have something called walking marriages I forget the name of the people

I have been pondering and deep diving this, what would a modern day matriarchy society would look like.

You said that men are not naturally as violent as they are made to be within a patriarchal system, which I agree with, but wouldn‘t the violence inflicted by men by that logic significantly decrease once we leave patriarchy behind, therefore not having to necessarily center women in all aspects of society? Or are men truly naturally more physically and sexually violent then women? Or are we only able to Transition out of patriarchy by implementing Matriarchy? And could that established matriarchy be eventually left behind once we see the positive effects of Matriarchal socialization? Or would it have to be forever, again, assuming that men are just inherently violent towards women. I just want to say that I myself am a woman and very interested in the Concept of matriarchy, so this is not some sort of pushback to your Point, just some additional questions :)

Wilfred :
if male violence is largely due to patriarchal socialisation, i.e., without the patriarchy, men would be much less violent, why would an egalitarian society require unequal treatment between men and women?
unless you think that there is something about men that is necessarily more violent?

if men are violent due to patriarchal conditioning then why are these "peaceful" matriarchies still existing or existed in the first place

Enforced sex based inequality is the very opposite of egalitarianism😭 A lot of the violence you speak of can be tackled with economic and social reforms that do not include the pedestalization of one gender. A patriarchy could also center women for their "protection" while men retain the powers of the society, therefore centering women doesn't magically remove hierarchy or create unequal equality. Egalitarianism is the idea that ALL peoples REGARDLESS of gender and class are created equal and of equal VALUE and should therefore be TREATED EQUALLY. If your matriarchy is egalitarian then your matriarchy is not a matriarchy. Quit the cognitive dissonance
