I remember when I was getting a bit older, starting to watch more adult like shows and read more adult like books, my mom telling me she would rather me engage with media that had sex in it over violence. Her exact words were "because sex is natural and can be a beautiful thing, violence is not and will never be." And that has stuck with me well into my 30s.

I know it's true that sexual fantasy isn't inherently reflective of real life desires because I know it's true for me. I am asexual and completely voluntarily celibate and hope to be forever! but I still have fantasies! so therefore it's an easy jump to think that could be (and often is) the case for others

I know sex isn’t for everyone but I find odd that people do not care or investigate that side of themselves. Learning about sex and exploring sexuality is how you learn about yourself and your boundaries.
