I’ve been silent for 7 years so I get it. Watching the video of him and hearing the things he would say to you are more triggering to me than other other dv awareness video. The similarities are wild to me. I am fully convinced that your ex and my ex have the same demon. I applaud your bravery.

same! I JUST started coming out on FB about what happened. it took me 1 year. it took him 1 day to start the smear campaign about me and a bunch of lies. I'm still afraid of him. I did say he abused me but there's so much more I'd like share. I wanna post my abuse photos of my broken teeth, share the videos I have. I wanna do it all but I'm scared but ok it'll be so healing for me cuz I was quiet for 12 years

So glad you are free!! Have you been to therapy? The parkour and eating limes are a side effect of the abuse. Your nervous system is still uncomfortable in safety. It’s seeking danger and unusual behavior because that’s what it’s used to. That’s what feels “safe”. I’m not judging just speaking from experience. Trauma has to be healed or it’s stored. I know parkour is a fun activity but your nervous system might still be addicted to danger.
