I tie it to the harness. On long hikes I have the pup wear a small backpack for dogs and have a large zip lock and fill it with poop bags so it keeps the smell contained.

On trash days, people toss theirs in my big trashcan even after the trash has been picked up and I don't get annoyed at all. Even if it smells like I totally understand not wanting to carry a bag of shit. Lolol

I start adjusting where I’m walking to trash bins near the road 😅 I wouldn’t mind if someone used mine, nobody likes to carry hot poop longer than they have to!
