As a fellow single mom who does not have a baby dad in the picture, the first time my ex in laws asked to have my daughter stay for a full week was hard for both of us. Now she goes twice a year and to camp for a week each summer. The break for both of us is a blessing

My daughter turns 13 in August… I still cry when she leaves 😂 been a single mom the entire time and ugh, it’s SOOO HARD. But then once I get out the tears, the break is always nice. It’s fun to miss them. Enjoy it, momma- you deserve a day to just SIT 😂

things to occupy yourself..sleep, take a bubble bath if u can with a bath bomb and bubbly catch up on series, eat snacks go watch a movie, go to a club do your hair, nails just enjoy your time
