Alternative option: start adding an all world ex US fund!! I do 60% investments in S&P 500, 20% in all world ex US (XUSE on t212) for that diversification 🫶 personally I wouldn’t sell as I hate time out the market, especially as a long term investor xx

that's what I did about a year back. I bought S&P at like 19 or something, now I'm 23 and sold the S&P for both All world, and the All world high dividend. (as VHYL has better concentration outside of US) but mostly it's in all world with a touch of VHYL

Depends on your conviction of America. Whilst people should generally be diversified if they also have more conviction through research about a certain stock or etf then that is an equally strong strategy, albeit more "risky". You could flip the question and ask why not sell the all world?
