I totally get it I'm currently fluent in 2 languages and studying 3 more and I wish to be a teacher or a translator and I hate the fact that so many people use AI, even my friends put their work through Chat GPT and then ask me to check it again, do you per change know any non AI leasing apps that could br useful?

some people don't have access to native speakers unfortunately. or they don't yet feel comfortable with their language to speak it. using AI apps as a crutch to get to a point where you're more comfortable with a language is not bad, especially if an app has a talking feature

I teach german as a foreign language in highschool. I agree with you mostly but I really think that even low end AIs will be very good at translating direct conversations, taking into account cultural context, etc... It's already very hard to tell if something is produced by an AI or a very good student, and just think about how we made fun of broken Google translations, that was only a few years ago.
