No bc my son didn’t get a single award for his class. He had great grades and a great year! She literally told me she forgot to print his off. I cried. I was so upset how can you forget a child!!

one kid was almost accidentally left out of my son's PreK Graduation and his parents spoke RIGHT up mid-ceremony. it was an honest mistake on the teacher's part (the diploma was under something in the basket) & she was SO sorry, but she fixed it right away and every one cheered SO LOUD for that kid.

As a teacher: this is not acceptable. Why did no adult fix this? I teach HS and during our awards ceremony I realized two students hadn’t’ been called yet. I told another adult to watch my post and SPRINTED to my computer, made the certificates, ran to the color printer, and ran back to the awards ceremony because kids shouldn’t be impacted by adult mistakes.

I was always this child who was left out or “forgotten” about by the teachers and it had an impact to this day. Did they have an excuse as to why they didn’t give him a gift bag? This makes me so sad, his wee little face 😥
