I don't think she meant that people shouldn't marry the person they dated. What she was trying to say is that couples should avoid treating dating like marriage before they are actually married. When people move in together too early and start doing everything as husband and wife, the excitement, anticipation, and sense of newness that usually come with marriage can reduce. Sometimes there is less eagerness to take the next step because both people already feel like they are married. Giving each other some space during the dating stage can help maintain longing, appreciation, and the desire to build a future together. Visiting each other and spending time together is different from completely living as a married couple before marriage. So the point isn't don't marry who you date.The point is don't turn dating into marriage before the wedding.i guess that's what she was trying to say but she didn't put it well.i come in peace🤷🏾
