When I was in college and lived in dorms I used to always hang the cloth thingy on the tap but someone always took it off and just threw it in the sink. I just gave up in the end lol

you can clean windows directly in the sun if you use enough water and are fast enough/know what you’re doing. but yes it is easier to do it while they’re in shade/cold
