That is true.You have to resurface a flat surface.You gotta put it in the oven, bolted down and then proceed with your resurfacing.Now , you'll have to find a sham and a head gaskin to compensate what you took off

It’s obvious you have to cut a head that warped. If you don’t it will crease your papers that are weighted down!
