i’m a stay at home mom and am trying to get my husband to see how i’m always the default parent, and that i don’t get a day off. he works full time and wants to rest on the weekends but so do i. any suggestions?

hence why I won't be engaging with my parents until they get therapy in good faith with a therapist that has done the work to see how therapy itself can be weaponized to reinforce the patriarchy. I don't expect to ever talk to my parents again.

we honestly should structure neighborhoods so children can move about safely, 100% and autonomously, but we have made neighborhoods anti-children, with too many cars, too many creeps, cps calls if a child walks alone, or adults who bother children for being outside. if only neighborhoods could create child friendly areas to give children back some power but men are creeps and cps is a weapon against child autonomy

my issue is I became WAY to empathetic to women's issues that I put myself in power differential situations that severely fucked my life up because I felt like I needed to pay penance for being male. i ended up becoming an enabler to narcissistic women and threw a decade of my life away. but I realize I am in the vast minority of men. women and their inability to respect my boundaries have terrified me in the past. somehow I ended up becoming parentified and infantilized by predatory women when I left my family at 21 with no support.
