I know if my grandkids have any medical or dietary issues and follow those directions. But if the have no medical issues, grandma here treating them to an occasional ice cream cone or cupcakes at my house. It’s not like I’d give them that every single day if they were staying for a long period with me

Dairy is another product that can be contained in other foods. How do you make sure? I get no kissing the baby due to the cold sore virus and respiratory diseases.

I get it but relationships are about compromise. None of those things are difficult to abide by but some are you being selfish. It is good to teach your children that there is a time and place for treats. Time goes by fast and when your kids get old enough they will run towards those things if you do not teach them balance from the very beginning. I promise things that feel so important now will not feel that way forever. The more love poured out to your children the better!
