I wouldn’t say Skala is one of the best curly creams in Brazil, although I love it and it’s currently my go-to leave-in.. however its formula is quite simple and it usually sits among the cheapest hair products.. you should look for Lola Cosmetics - it is a Brazilian brand that indeed invests in the formula and has products for all curvatures

Hi Monica your hair looks wonderful!! I’m a brazilian with low porosity curly hair and this tip was a life changer for me: use a cotton tshirt or a microfiber towel to gently scrunch out the excess product before difusing! That way it feels lighter on the hair without causing the friction that leads to frizziness

Hiii, I'm brazilian, skala is a very ok hair cream, if it works for you good, it's a product we tend to use when younger. Some people just say that it's bad because they put a ton of product in their hair and don't wash it properly.

Hey girl, here in Brasil we mostly use Skala for pre-poo (don’t know if it is the same term in English), it isn’t a bad product by any means but there are many better options, like arveniss, widicare, Apse, Lola cosmetics, etc

ive heard that over time it tends to dry the hair out, and it does cause alot of build up. but whatever works for you works for you, you should definitely keep using it and report back in a few weeks with your full review

i dont think skala is really bad for your hair, its just not the best. its one of the cheapest hair brands here but if your hair is not damaged its actually a good option

Skala is a very cheap brand here in Brazil, that's why so many people use it. I've used it for a couple years and it didn't do anything bad to my hair (but also didn't make it better)

honestly just get a clarifying shampoo for wash days, try to scrunch excess product and water with a cotton fabric before you diffuse and you should be set
