This algorithm set is part of the CFOP method, which stands for: Cross, F2L, OLL and PLL. OLL and PLL are used to solve the last layer of the 3x3 cube. OLL is the third step of the CFOP method. It is used to orient the last layer with only one step, so that one color faces up on the last layer shown above. When done with the OLL step, continue with PLL, which is the fourth step in CFOP, to complete the cube. You should learn OLL if you already know 4LLL, and want to become slightly faster. OLL and PLL is recommended if you average around 15-25 seconds already, and it can bring you down to well under 10 seconds with a lot of practice. Using the Learn page is recommended for OLL and PLL, since they contain quite a few algorithms. You can find and read more about PLL, F2L and 4LLL back in the algorithms section.
