Literally my husband yesterday. Asked me what was in the salad I said red onion to hear back “umm are you blind? That’s purple” 😂🥴

Fun fact, the reason they call it red is because back in the day before purple was invented, they called every shade of red, red. So instead of maroon or burgundy for example, they would just simply call it red. Even though they are very clearly not red, it still fell into that category back then. Hope this makes sense 😁
