@dumpdebtwithme: During my research, I have found three different debt payoff methods that I am evaluating for my process. Number one. The snowball method this ranks cards in order of smallest balances first in order to build up progress more quickly. Number two the avalanche method focuses on paying off cards with the highest interest rates first to take advantage of lowering rates and applying more to principal. Number three. The newest method I have come across from @Debt Efficiency Method calculates a debt efficiency percentage for each card. Then you pay extra funds to the card with the highest debt efficiency percentage first. This method helps reduce your minimum payments faster and keeps more money in your budget. At the end of the month, you then take 40% of any remaining funds and apply it to the card with the highest percentage. I am sure there are advantages to each of these methods. Which one have you used? Which one should I use? I’m ready to get started! #dumpdebtwithme #debtfreejourney #creditcarddebt #tinywinsmatter
I just discovered debt efficiency method. I’m starting off with snowball then try out the debt efficiency method. 🤞🏼

I’ve used the snowball method in the past, but I’m currently doing avalanche. It’s saving me more interest.

Personally I'd pick the Avalanche method. Get rid of card with highest interest first. To me that makes more sense. However, it's whatever suits

I’ve been looking at all three of these the last couple of days, making different spreadsheets,!etc. but the debt efficiency method is my least favorite. I think because I’m just hearing about it and don’t fully understand it as clearly as the other two.

Debt efficiency method is just the “cash flow index” method with a different name. Good on that guy for coming up with his own term, though.
