@better.life.for.paws: Two years ago, I started volunteering at Baldwin Park ACC. What I thought would be a way to help dogs became one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. Over the past two years, I’ve experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows. I’ve celebrated freedom walks, grieved heartbreaking losses, and witnessed both the best and worst of people. Along the way, I found something I never expected - true friendship. I met incredible adopters, fosters, volunteers who share the same passion for helping dogs. What started as volunteering grew into networking, advocacy, and eventually Project BP Rescue - a rescue founded by my friend and partner, Ren ,and me, dedicated to the dogs of Baldwin Park ACC and giving them the second chances they deserve. This journey has not always been easy. There have been disappointments, setbacks, and moments when my heart felt completely broken. But every dog who found safety, love, and a second chance made it worth it.
