but at same time after u fully stop it will not ruin tranmission if u shift from drive to park with out other step .u can shift it to park and transition will be fine after u are fully stopped .

There’s no need to shift to neutral. Your brakes are still holding the vehicle until you release the brake pedal. Just pull the parking brake before you release the brake pedal

Until the Temp is below 42° and a deep freeze hits leaving your Parking Park Brake frozen where you are unable to get to work. Simple, Just put it in park unless you're on an incline.

I’ve never used my parking brake with my automatic transmissions. I’ve only used it with my manual transmissions.

actually has a 36 year veteran automotive technician this guy couldn't be more wrong. correct way is to stop your vehicle keep your foot on the brake put the vehicle in park engage the parking brake then release the brake itself and voila you're done. this is because if you do it the way he said once you take your foot off of the break and shift into park it's going to want to shift to reverse and then to park which will eventually destroy your transmission.
