The main issue is genshin straight up forgetting their own lore. Diluc became Calvary Captain at 14 and was the youngest ever, but they said that if Lohen succeeded in becoming the captain of whatever company it was, he would break Diluc's record of being the youngest captain. Which literally doesn't make any logical sense given everything else we know about Lohen's lore and backstory, but it implies he's 13 or younger which, again, makes zero sense 😭😭

Let's put our thinking cap on because Hoyo is allergic to giving canon age, Diluc is probably around 25-30, Jean is probably a little younger than Diluc, let's say 24-27. Alright, now Varka and Jean's dad (forgot the name), Varka met Jean's dad during his travel, meaning he is at least a teenager (believing his parents are actually responsible enough not to let a teen younger than 16 travel around in world packed with monsters), let's just say 16-20, to be save 18. Let's say Jean's parents immediately got together and have Jean, add up one year to Varka during this, 19. Alright, add up with Jean's current age (probably around 25 at the very least) Varka is at the very least 44 years old. Lohen is saved ten years ago and during that we can see Lohen is probably around 8-10 years old (he have parents so he is probably fed well before the whole ordeal), so Lohen is probably around 20-23 at most. Especially considering the whole youngest captain which I still couldn't understand how is it possible and would really appreciate if anyone can explain it to me (and correct me if i get any timeline wrong)
