I use to explain this to my ex husband all the time and it just seems like he wasn’t trying to get. He wanted stuff to just return to me not being mad or anything he just wanted me to be cool not say anything as I dealt with the situations. Ugh😩 so draining so glad I was finally strong enough to file for divorce and chose myself

But if you're asking for a future together, you also have to be willing to unpack the hurt instead of decorating it and living there forever. Healing isn't forgetting what happened—it's deciding that what happened won't have the final say. Because grace and accountability can exist in the same conversation. ❤️

Fact and Truth. I don’t even wanna bleed on em, I just bleed on Jesus. Access may forever be denied but always try to forgive mane. I always hear different accounts as to what really went down when the stories get back to me too, that drives me even further away. I just had someone blame an entire failed marriage on me recently, while saying we could still make it work, in the same conversation. It was saddening mane. When God slams doors closed, YOU KNOW. Only a fool returns to the scene of a crime while the crime is still being committed. Know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away, know when to ru….you know the song.
